Greyes: “More than art, a ministry of grace.”
ABOUT GREYES
With headquarters in London and an office in Rome, Greyes crafts pieces that transcend products, serving as vessels for sharing God’s grace. Established on 4th October 2022, Greyes is more than a brand; it is a heartfelt ministry deeply rooted in faith, creativity, and a rich heritage. The name ‘Greyes’ elegantly unites the meanings of two names: ‘Gozo,’ or joy, and ‘Reyes,’ meaning kings, reflecting our mission to share the joy of Christ, the King of Kings, through art. Although commonly found in Spain, the surname ‘Reyes’ carries an older legacy, possibly dating back to a Roman soldier in 230 A.D., hinting at historical connections to the Roman occupation of the Iberian Peninsula.
The surname “Reyes” also carries the weight of Spain’s history, particularly during La Reconquista, a time when knights bearing this surname valiantly reclaimed Spain from the Muslims, an almost impossible task considering that much of the Peninsula was already under Islamic occupation. This spirit of courage and unwavering faith, which defined that era, continues to inspire Greyes’ mission today to create faith-based art, and encourage other Christians to express their faith boldly in a world that deeply needs grace. This heritage underpins Greyes’ vision to spread the Gospel and ignite a revival of faith through creative expression. From Rome, the cradle of Christianity, to the forward-thinking spirit of London, and the lasting heritage of Spain, Greyes is shaped by the past while purposefully moving forward in its ministry of grace.
“As a Spanish founder, I carry forward this legacy of faith, believing that, much like the knights of old, Greyes is called to share God’s grace, serve others, and care for God’s creation. My mission is to share the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ through creativity and and to inspire Christians to join me on this journey of sharing Christ boldly and living out their faith unashamedly, embracing the spirit of Romans 1:16.” ~Greyes’ Founder
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” ~Romans 1:16
In Spanish: “Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio, porque es poder de Dios para salvación a todo aquel que cree; al judío primeramente, y también al griego.” ~Romanos 1:16.
The business is now headquartered on Regent Street, symbolically connected to royalty, could not be more fitting for a brand whose name means “kings”. Regent Street’s royal connotations perfectly mirror the brand’s commitment to honouring the King of Kings through every piece of art.
MISSION
Greyes exists to create faith-inspired, sustainable art that reflects spiritual truth and grace. Through our carefully crafted designs, we seek to serve as a ministry of creativity, uplifting souls, spreading the Gospel, and giving back to communities worldwide. Every product is a testament to our commitment to quality, purpose, and stewardship of God’s creation.
Art as an act of worship: Greyes is more than art, but worship. In the Bible, art has often been used as a form of worship, from the detailed designs of the Tabernacle to the Davidic psalms. For Greyes, faith-inspired art is a sacred offering, a visual prayer to the One Who gave us the gift of creativity.
Art as an embodiment of spiritual truth and grace: Greyes is more than beauty, but about conveying spiritual ‘truth and Christ’s grace’ (John 1:14). Inspired by this verse, Greyes’ products embody these divine attributes.
Art as a ministry: Greyes is more than a business; it is a ministry of grace that uses Art & Design to remind people of their worth in Christ and to uplift the soul. As a Christian business, giving back to communities is at the heart of Greyes’ mission, rooted in Christ’s teachings: ‘[…], “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”‘ (Matthew 25:40, NIVUK). Greyes Ltd is committed to donating at least 10% of all its sales to carefully selected charities worldwide, ensuring that your purchase makes a difference in someone’s life. All charitable donations are revenue-based (not profit), a deliberate decision to ensure that the business operating costs do not affect the amount the company donates to charity. At Greyes, business is more than just making a profit but making a positive impact, and the company believes that profit-making and purpose do not have to be in conflict. By helping others, Greyes strives to reflect God’s Grace and fulfil its calling to serve those in need.
When you choose a Greyes product, you’re not just buying a meaningful piece but also joining a mission to share God’s grace, serve others, and care for the earth. Thank you for being part of this journey. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

THE MEANING BEHIND GREYES’ LOGO
The journey of designing the Greyes logo has been as thoughtful and intentional as the art we create. It started with a design featuring classical architecture, representing four Roman columns converging at the centre, which unintentionally resembled a Jerusalem cross. These columns symbolised the strength, courage, and balance of Greyes’ mission—strong, unwavering, and grounded in its foundation of faith in Christ. However, as the design evolved, we realised that while the columns were powerful and beautiful, they felt too rigid. The design captured the heritage and strength we admired but missed the essence of grace and approachability that Greyes stands for. This led us to rethink the design, refining it and stripping away unnecessary elements. We simplified it by keeping what mattered most: the foundations. Thus began the journey of refining our logo. We needed something more fluid, capturing both our rich past and vibrant present while symbolising our openness to the future.
In the final version, we aimed to retain the base of the columns, preserving the meaning that everything is built upon Christ, the cornerstone of our faith and the very foundation of Greyes. However, we allowed the design to evolve, and out of this simplification emerged the fluid and elegant ‘G’—a symbol of grace, joy, and the faith-driven creativity we are called to carry forward. The cross, which once emerged unintentionally from the columns, remains the true focus but lives more subtly in the heart of our emblem, just as it resides in the heart of everything we create.
The Jerusalem cross, formed by the convergence of these columns, is now presented in a muted shade of gold that avoids the flashiness of brighter golds, aligning with Greyes’ values of quiet elegance and simplicity. Gold, long associated with divinity and kingship, also adds a sense of heritage and warmth. The four tiny blue crosses not only represent the four Gospel accounts—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—but also reflect the original Biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek) through the choice of colours. The blue and white are nods to the flags of Israel and Greece, respectively, grounding the design in biblical heritage. These symbols honour the sacred texts and the nations that carried forth God’s Word, aligning with the mission of Greyes to stand firm in faith and Scripture. The white circle background, symbolising purity and truth, highlights the eternal light of the Gospel of Christ, preached by the four evangelists.
With just six letters, Greyes embodies depth, joy, and heritage as we move forward with purpose. Greyes’ logo, in its current form, gracefully reflects this rich faith, balancing strength with an understated timeless appeal.
LOOKING AHEAD WITH FAITH
As Greyes continues to grow, our commitment remains the same: to share God’s grace and love through creative expression. We invite you to join us, not just as a customer, but as part of a community united by faith, purpose, and the love of Christ.
