MAY I RETURN THE ITEM IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH IT? (REFUND/EXCHANGE)

Greyes follows an eco-friendly business model that allows printing only when and what is needed. This means that all Greyes’ physical items are made to order and crafted specifically for you, which means returns or exchanges are not accepted unless an error was made on our part. However, if you encounter any issues with your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out for support.

In exceptional cases where a refund is approved, the buyer will be responsible for paying for the return shipping costs unless an error was made on our part. You will be refunded only for the item’s price you paid at the time of purchase, minus the shipping costs.

MY ITEM IS DAMAGED ON ARRIVAL. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your item arrives damaged, please fill up this form immediately. A photo proof will be required prior to sending a replacement. Once approved,  a new replacement item will be shipped to you. Please read clause 2 in Terms & Conditions for more detailed information.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FRAMING RECOMMENDATIONS?

This will mainly depend on each individual’s taste. However, you usually want to achieve a contrast to make the art print stand out; if the print has a mainly white background, it is better to use a black or dark-coloured frame and vice versa.

Another thing to consider is the print or painting style. A traditional gold frame with a thick border looks best if the subject is a classic one. Minimalist frames with a thin border are recommended for abstract or line art prints. You can also use wood frames if adding a rustic style to your home appeals to you.

DO YOU HAVE ANY CONSERVATION RECOMMENDATIONS?

Yes. Some good conservation practices are:

  • Clean your hands before handling the art print, and wear gloves to prevent oils and dirt from transferring to the surface.
  • Do not hang the artwork in places prone to moisture, where extreme temperature changes may occur, or in direct sunlight. Alternatively, you can use a frame with protective glass to avoid damage to the print.
  • Choose glass frames with UV protection or acrylic to minimise exposure to UV light, which can cause fading and discolouration over time.
  • If the item is framed, lightly dust the surface of the frame with a soft, dry cloth without cleaning solutions.
